Thanks for this info - I'll give this a look and download it to have a play around with. I'm also chatting with Ewon Flexy support, and they are advising a FTP in the PLC so that the Ewon Flexy can talk to it (makes sense), so also currently working through FTP data exchange between an FTP server and a SIMATIC S7-1200 / S7-1500 (siemens.com) If/ when I get a solution, I'll make another post on this thread at it seems to be quite a common thing that a lot of people are wanting to automate. - AD |

Apologies - It was the link to the FTP library in the following PDF. FTP data exchange between an FTP server and a SIMATIC S7-1200 / S7-1500 (siemens.com) However! I have found a working link, if anyone is in need of this library. https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/de/de/view/81367009/en Following on from this, I'm attempting to use the CPU as an FTP client, and FileZilla as an FTP server, then access and send the .CSV files from the PLC SD card/ webserver. Have no idea if the FTP is capable of this or if it'll just send DB info, but going to give it a go. Failing this, I will take a look at CURL as someone has kindly pointed out and see if I can run this through a Windows client/ background process. Was trying the PLC client FTP side first, so I can control it with a PLC trigger. Wish me luck! :) - AD |
