Hello Navnag, What is the behavior of other brand redundant system in case of download? Sorry I don't know, don't have any experience with that. But is good idea to split this issue like a new thread. Back to your question - I think is clear any modifications into the hardware is lead to restart of CPUs. And this is valid for all brand of CPUs. Above mentioned FAQ said what are possibilities of downloading software changes without STOP of CPU. To be honest during commissioning almost in all cases is need to download a changes in order to fix some 'bugs' as you said. But during commissioning I think is acceptable and reasonable that. Let's see the other members. Personally I am waiting for opinion of H-H about that. best regards, Hristo Mihalev |
