makaveli Posts: 259 Rating: (5)	Hi, I have some question about Sinumerik 810T. I know that if you need load or take backup you use RS232 cable, but I don't know any details about this cable. I mean it is normal data cable 1:1? I don't things so... maybe someone have some scheme...or other details. Other two questions – What cable I need to connect online with step5? Where I can find text file with error and messages (6000.., 7000..)? With regards, makaveli

makaveli Posts: 259 Rating: (5)	I read this pdf before and I don't saw it. But now I see that alarm message are in %PCA file... So i should have in NC Memory %PCA N6000 = First Error N6001 = Second Error : N7000 = First Message N7001 = Second Message : That’s right? Can someone share backup for machine with 810T. Because i want to analyze what files are necessary ant what is inside of them. If it is no possible can you tell me what file (extension) are mandatory and what content the have. Ricardo62 Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hello makaveli, The file extensions are not important, the system detcts the file type from the header within the file e.g. %TEA1, %PCA etc. On early versions of the controller the PLC alarm text could not be saved. If this is the case you will have to recreate your own with Notepad or similar. Ensure that the header is present before loading to the controller.. Good luck

NCMD data ==> % T E A 1 PLCMD data ==> % T E A 2 PLC Progm ==> % P C P Alarm TXT ==> % P C A Ricardo62 is right the file extensions are not important, the system detcts the file type from the header within the file % T E A 1, % T E A 2 Motor Data will not be there in the backup....as such noramlly the drives are analog type of control (611A) or XYZ drives....
