Can't communicate with my Pilot PMAC 735 energy analyzer/meter

I am looking for modbus driver that may connect my energy meters to win cc flexible 2008 SP3. The energy meters are PMAC 735 and some other controllers with Ethernet and RS485. Please send me if you have related driver.

Have a look at chapter 6 "Comunication with Modicon Controllers" in ythe following WinCC Flexible manual:

WinCC flexible 2008 Communication Part 2 - Siemens

It describes how to configure Modbus RTU (RS-485) and Modbus TCP connections on WinCC Flexible 2008.

As you question relates to WinCC flexible, it doesn't relates to this topic, but as Daniel Chartier alredy have written, you don't need any special driver as MODBUS RTU so as MODBUS TCP is built-in possibility of WinCC Flexible.

So I don't see any problem communicating to PMAC 735 cause it support MODBUS RTU.

As for other controllers, it depends on the protocols they support.

Thank you very much sir for your advise. I had checked it and when i connect my modbus device with Win CC Flexible using TCP/IP Modicon protocol, it asks me Type and addresses of Modicon PLC and there it make me fail to communicate with my Pilot PMAC 735 energy analyzer/meter.

So please suggest if any other solution/driver is applicable/available so that I may connect any Modbus device without any restriction of specific device or controller.

Dear Sir can you please share how Modbus will connect with PMAC 735 Energy Analyzer. Also the TCP/IP or Modbus in Win CC Flexible is for either Siemens PLC or Modicon PLC/Controllers. I could not find generic application in communication column where i may connect any general MODBUS device with flexible.

If you have any solution please share with screen shots.

Just Use Modicon PLC option, it should fit your requirements.

I have checked PMAC 735 have RS-485, why do you write about Modbus TCP? I believe you should use RTU if no protocol converter is used.
