Can TSend_C block detect network cable disconnection on server side?

Wayne1314 Joined: 2/24/2023 Last visit: 3/26/2023 Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	If runTSend_C block in one PLC and keep sending data every 1 second via TCP connection type to TCP server on one Windows host, the PLC and Windows host connect to same switch, then if plugout ethernet cable of Windows host, would TSend_C block return sending successfully or failed?

If you want to be on the safe side, use the TDIAG instruction. With the instruction "T_DIAG" you check the state of a connection and read further information about the local endpoint of this connection. Regards, Towome
