Changing Digital Output from Both Digital Input and Modbus

Hello all,

I want to configure the digital output of Logo!8 0BA8 in such a way that, it can both be controlled through network (Modbus TCP) and the current status of digital inputs. I have written a simple program with Soft Comfort that can control the digital output via digital input, but then I cannot change that specific output with Modbus TCP.

How could this be possible, do you have any idea? Would you suggest to command different variables from input and Modbus; and in turn they should control output through software?

Note: Modbus TCP support is now available in FS:04 firmware.

You must use an NETWORK DIGITAL INPUT.

Connect that input with AND, OR or EXOR or.... with the Digital output

Is there anyway to download the new firmware to my bought LOGOs or am I have got to buy new ones for having ModBUS TCP connectivity?
