Hi K2016, You can have several status signals at the faceplate. A green checkbox means you are allowed to change settings (OS_Perm bit is enabled) A grey checkbox means you are not allowed to change settings at this moment because a process condition is active. A red cross means the operator is not allowed to change settings (OS_Perm bit is not enabled) An alarm with a red line through it (like you supplied) means that the alarm is not enabled-> for example: PV_AH_MsgEn = 0 When you see blank boxes with no text it means the limit is not enabled-> PV_AH_En = 0 EDIT: I now know what you mean with the checkbox signals... Those checkboxes are coming from the OS_Perm permissions. You probably have a block where the OS_Perm permission are set to false (0). Open the properties of the block and search for OS_Perm and check the following bits: Bit13-Bit22. For example, you can set the limit for PV_AH_Lim when bit13 is set to "1". The permissions can be set for each block individually.
