hello I have similar issue right now When right click on IO Address in charts it gives error 248:111 that this function can only work in Plan Order What is weirder is that if I go to Process object view and in signal right click on the same IO and select go to IO Module - this works... This happened after upgrade of PCS7 v9.0 SP2 to Sp3 with UC1 CFC is SP5 v9.0 Compiled everything with module drivers without errors few times. Is this a bug or is it possible to fix it somehow? EDit: Error in english - The function can be used only in chart folders below SIMATIC station ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

suggest you open an SR. My team is having similar problems with the same versions you mentioned here and has worked with Siemens to resolve the issue. (Agree you are on the officially released latest version at the moment) |

Specific to our situation a hotfix was needed, based on urgency/timing of our project the hotfix was released, however we will still need to apply the next full update collection when it comes out. Since it Siemens is moving to Update Collections instead of individual patches/hotfixes, it will get general released there for everyone and not individual release like used to happen. Any unusual system behaviors like this, I would always recommend to open an SR, even if you find your own work-around eventually (or not), so they can fix/improve the product. |

i've got the same problem. After upgrade from 8.0 SP2 to 9.0SP3 UC1 i cant go to I/O module from CFC. Everything compiles nicely new channel module connects into diagnostic an so. I'm affraid that can be issiue with communication between AS and CFC.
