combine two Wincc projects, problem with analog alarms (PCS7 V7.1 SP3)

furqankaimkhani Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	i am new here and didnt find the new post button except in this thread. so i posted my issue here. My issue is also related to PCS7 V7.1 SP3 Alarm logging. I have two Wincc projects. I need to combine these and make a new single project that includes everything from both projects. I tried this by exporting all the tags and alarms from those two projects and then one by one imported those tags and alarms into my new single project. I also copied the Gracs that i needed. The problem is of the analog alarms. I did not find any of my analog alarms in my new project. I have also enabled the display of the analog alarms from the add ins option in the Alarm Logging. Can any one help please.

n00dels Experienced Member Joined: 4/8/2013 Last visit: 6/30/2024 Posts: 95 Rating: (7)	My suggestion would beto merge the two underlying projects into one multiproject in Simatic manager, since you might need it for futurechanges. that way you can just compile both Subprojectsto oneWINCC station and you will not have to hack or import/export tags in WINCC but just configure the whole WINCC project the PCS7 way. theproblem with importing exporting your tag connections is that any change to that project will require you to manually redo this action for the WINCC station.
