Commissioning of torque mode without PLC

masoodanzar Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	Hi, We have a winder application and we are using Parker Drive. I want to use G120. I have seen the article below but it requires a PLC. : https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/58565043 I know about speed control but I want to know about the commissioning of torque mode without PLC. I am commissioning with starter and set following parameters during commissioning P96=0 Expert Mode P1300=22 Control Type P15=12 Analog Set Point After commissioning, I can see Analog Input is set as speed setpoint (image attached) while Torque setpoint is blank (Image Attached) Do I have to replace the speed setpoint as torque setpoint or I have to provide one more analog input for torque setpoint. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Split from Torque Control of G120. All commissioning macros are for speed controlled drives and applications. So in your case, the analogue setpoint needs to be connected as torque setpoint. As your second picture shows. In sensorless closed loop speed control at speeds <p1755, a fully closed loop controlled behavior is very dificult to realise. Please take care, because when the load fails, the drive accelerates up to the parameterised speed limit very quickly! Thats why I prefer and propose, if possible, an overdriven speed controller and limit the torque by scaling the torque limits via the analogue potentiomenter.
