Configuration for CP341, led TX flashing but RX led do nothing

Dear All,

Kindly we need your help , We made the configuration for CP341 As attached but we found the led TX flashing but RX led do nothing , and no data from the slave device collected ,we put FB10 on OB1& FB35 at OB35, In online mode we found Status=16#0,Done=0 ,error=0 the wiring diagram is B+ of master  to B+ at slave &  A+ of master to A+ at slave

Split from MODBUS RTU MASTER FOR CP340/341/441-X (NO DONGLE REQUIRED).

Tx blinking is ok.

Check your wiring against the wiring diagrams provided with your CP.

If you tell us which CP model you use and upload the manual of your slave device we can tell you how to wire it correctly.

Our type of Communication Processor is CP341 ( 6ES7-341-1CH02-0AE0 )

also Kindly find the attached file of the Slave device configuration & wiring ( Elster FC 2000 flow computer ) (the wiring diagram at page 96) , we made the connection with two wired configuration pin 6 (FC side) to pin 11 (CP side) & 9 (FC side) to pin 4 (CP side)

Now we found the transmit and receive led flashing rapidly ,but still no data collected from partner Done=0 Error =0 status=16#0,also kindly find the attached file of configuration of data at slave device may be helpful

I was trying to download the FC2000 manual but the zip file is empty.

Anyway, it seems that you fixed an issue so that the Rx is blinking too.

What was that problem?

In DB303 online from RECV_BUFFER you should be able to see what data is received by the CP.

Please take a screenshot and upload it.

Kindly find the attached file of FC 2000 wiring and FC RS485 configuration (sorry for the empty attached)

Now we leaved the site and we will return at the next week, to complete our work and we will check the DB 303 ( as our configuration) , we thought that the data will be at DB 305 ( as our configuration that assigned for S7ADDR parameter of FB10) but now you told us that the data will be at DB 303 ,

Also Mr TIBI68 we need to make sure that Done=0 Error =0 status=16#0 is this values ok ( healthy ) ?

you are correct, the data will be first received in the instance DB of MBMA341 (DB303) and then transferred from there to STADDR defined at MBMAREQ (DB305).

While you said that the DB305 is empty but the Rx LED flashes I would like to know what the CP receives (DB303 Receive buffer).

For testing purpose you might request for two registers only (START= 40001/END= 40002).

I was at site yesterday and i had some image as attached and also had video for the changeable data at DB 303 ( changeable only when we connect the cable between CP & Salve device and CP led TX& RX blinking ), we made a configuration for a minor data request from the slave device  but also didn't find the data at  S7ADDR data block or also at DB303 ,Please we need your help

You made a write request  (Function Code 16 = 10hex) instead of a read request (Function Code 03 = 03hex), see SEND_BUFFER (1) = 10H.

Maybe that's the issue.

Check your MBMAREQ block configuration.

Make a complete software download, restart the PLC and try again.

we tested with configuration of MBMAREQ (Function Code 03 = 03hex) & (Function Code 16 = 10hex) with RW = 0 &1  ,and make full download ,but also found no data ,

The timer of send_buffer (1) didn't  stop if the configuration RW = 0 or 1 , also we need to know if any indication exist to make sure any data received from the slave device
