Hi, If you built up the hardware and project there the analog outputs as redundant set then it must work. Please consider that you have to place the software between the redundant software blocks for reading in and writing out the redundant I/O. So the software to write the analog output must be between those blocks.... and only write the lowest word with the value you want. Is there a passivated signal ? |
I hope that the answer will help, if you have still questions, don't hesitate to ask me. |

Hello prash; The manual for the S7-400H system can be downloaded here: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/1186523 There is a chapter on I/O configurations, including redundant I/O. The following FAQ discusses the use of I/O edundancy on the S7-400H. http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/9275191 Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |

Hi all,
I have same problems with using AO card 332-5HD01 and using FB451. I tested many ways , when I use FB451 the system fails and error is Area Lenght Error when reading/writhing. I could handle redundant AI modules but AO doesn't work. some times it works but when I remove second module and insert it again the current is not halved and total current is on the module with lower address. also I removed module, waited for depassivation and inserted it again and after insertion that error occured. also AO is sensitive with removing AI. can anyone help me? regards. |
