Hi Bit Banger, Yes, the inputs are driven from the 24V supplies on the TM31 (X540). Don't forget to wire the two jumpers between M & M1, and also between M & M2 or this will not work. You do not need to do anything fancy with 24V to scale it to 10V for the analogs, as the voltage level already is available from P10 and N10 (X521) Please see the attached for the connection details, and I have also shown an example of a drive ON/OFF signal being driven from a TM31. Practically any signal can be selected as long as it resides on the Drive-Cliq network. In this example, I am starting my drive (P840) with Digital Input 0 on the TM31 module. Regards, Graeme

Hi, your Infeed is a Drive-Cliq connected Smart Infeed, so when you perform the automatic configurations, these connections are made for you, Starting your drive with your discrete input will enable the Infeed automatically. The issues arise when the CU/Drive object does not know the status of an infeed (for example, with a hardwired Smartline module, the Drive does not know if the infeed is ready/pre-charged or not) I agree it is not easy to find any parameter with Sinamics, but all I do is open the LH1 List manual (usually at the function diagrams or parameter list) and just do a text search if there is no obvious title. The basic brake functionality can be found on FD2701 (There are more advanced modes, but this usually is enough for most applications) Regards, Graeme
