connect PC to S7200

titan84 Posts: 48 Rating: (0)	Dir sir/madam, My system has 15 PLC S7200 ( 224 and 226). Now i want to connect my pc to these PLC to upload program. I use RS232/PPI but i can't connect. I try to change the transmission rate ( 9.6 kbps; 19.2 kbps and 187.5kbps) but can't connect. When i try connect to new PLC, i can connect and download. So what something do i have to check?

Hello, What is the error do you get ? Does your comport is working and healthy ???? What is the Setting You have done on the Set PG/PC Interface ? Can you Please Put the Screen Shot for same Is anything else is connected on Each PLC (Like HMI or Drive) ? Try to Put the CPU in the Term Mode & try to Upload the Backup Is your PC PPI Cable is working OK ? What is the MLFB no of the Cable you are using ?

SomNaMon Regular Member Joined: 9/5/2014 Last visit: 7/31/2024 Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	He has same my problem, i try to connected via pc/ppi or usb-ppi(China cable) but cannot i thinkboth CPU224,CPU226cannot estibish connected by pc/ppi because programmer often to set baud rate of connection to 187 kbps(use interface torapidly HMIs),so it made the pc/ppi or usb-ppi cannot to connected. so it must use the pc adapter (PPI) to connected because it can use baud rate to 187 kbps but in the new plc of CPU224 and CPU 226 can connected by pc/ppi or usb-ppi(China cable) because its not ever to set the baud rate before so its can connect
