Hello dacastillo; Do you mean how you need to connect the 2 PLCs physically to the single Profibus port on your HMI? The screenshot below shows the "normal" way to setup a Profibus-DP network, using Profibus cable and connectors. Profibus-DP uses a daisy-chain, linear bus configuration, You could c0nnect PLC1, then PLC2, the the HMI; Or PLC1, HMI, PLC2. or... It all depends on the topography of your plant, connect the closest nodes as they present themselves, logically. Termination is generally available directly on the Profibus connectors; the first and the last physical nodes must have the terminator switch at ON. My problem is more how I connect and configure two plcs on one profibus subred and how they communicate with the screen. |

I think my best option is to use a DPDP coupler, but I am locking if there's another way of do this whitout the coupler. |
