Connecting to servodrives

Smartbit Posts: 10 Rating: (0)	Hello, Does anyone have experience with connecting the S7-1200 to servodrives by means of profinet? I've tried it with Linmotdrives and it just doesn't work. Maybe i should us another brand of servodrives?

Mr D Posts: 21 Rating: (4)	You currently cannot use the S7-1200 as a Profinet Controller. You can control the servo drive using the Pulse Train Outputs of the CPU along with the Easy Motion blocks from the instruction set. Section 6.2.8 of the manual describes the block functionality and use.
