Connection between TIA Portal and IPC BX39A

asprich1 Joined: 6/19/2023 Last visit: 9/18/2024 Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hello, I'm new to TIA Portal, and I'm currently trying to configure a connection with an IPC BX39A via an Ethernet cable. On one side I have TIA Portal, installed on a Windows computer, and on the other side IPC BX39A on which the CPU 1507S software is installed. But when I try to download to the device from TIA Portal, my Ethernet connection, which I installed on port X1 of my IPC, does not appear, and I do not understand why. You should therefore connect to one of these ports to download the software controller. You may find different instructions on the internet in older manuals or examples, but since the introduction of the S7-1500 Software Controller version V30.0, the PC Station has been removed, so you should download to the controller using the interface assigned to the Software Controller. I tried to connect my PC on which my TIA portal application is located to port X2 of my IPC, on which the CPU 1507S software is assigned. But when I try to download to the device, the download always ends up failing. I don't understand what's causing the problem, or if I'm doing it correctly.
