I tried this method for the same issue. But no improvement. Also followed the information under below link https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/48933314 Did not work either. The problem resolved only after full download. I think this problem with the option clicked as Retain SFC state in SFC property, Which is the real need of the process. Waiting for anyone with suggestions to solve this issue. Used version : PCS 7 v9.0 Sp1 |

Hi, After a CPU restart, the SFC can be consistent or inconsistent. This is shown by a resume icon on the right side of the faceplate. Inconsistent data is when a step transition is executing while the PLC goes to error. This is shown by a red returning arrow. The procedure for consistent data is as follows: You need to set Resume/Abort/Stop/Reset in order to remove the CPU Restart icons. When the SFC is in Idle, you need to start the SFC manually in order to use one of the buttons above. When the Retain SFC state is used, the SFC will not return to Idle, but you need to set one of the above buttons. During inconsistent data after a restart, you need to Reset the SFC. |
If I could help you, you can use the RATE button. Thank you. |
