caperezic Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	Dear Sirs, I need your help. I'm working with a PCstation with OS Win XP SP2, WINCC 6.0 SP2, I installed a CP1613 and drivers too..!!! My problem is when I try to download to PLC. On HW I have configured PG/PC as PC INTERNAL LOCAL, I couldconfigure and download to Sation but I couldn't to do the same for PLC. I really need your help....I made a test using a diffrent Network Card and work ..... Attachment Problems to download project.JPG (384 Downloads)

Please check: Go to 'Configuration console', you can find via Start->Simatic->Simatic Net-> configuration console. Here you will find the module -> CP1613 Go to general, here you can see Mode of the module. When it is in 'Configured mode' it is ready to communicate using WinCC. You can change to 'PG operation', then it should be possible to download to PLC. (If PG/PC interface is set to CP1613 card) (When you want to communicate using WinCC, it should be put back in configured mode ) Best regards, Wizard

I choose accesible node with CP1613 but i can't read the PLC. I have a question for you it is normal both led from cp1613 blink slowly.... and besides on network conection only appear cp1613 NDIS....

Besides I installed again according the document that you mentioned.... I just have a question how can I test if the CP1613 is ready, or is connected..... I really appreciated your help... Thnaks..

J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (412)	Hello caperezic, diagnostics tools for the CP 1613 are available within the PG/PC interface settings, the CP provides there some features. Also in the PC Station settings are some points to see. About the case you mention, that you cannot download to the PLC while in configured mode is a bit strange. Is WinCC running while you try this download? You mention that you use the NDIS driver for the CP, is this true? I must say that I would not do that. The NDIS driver has some negative aspects to the stability of the PC system itself. Maybe you contact the international customer support by a Support Request to get called. I fear the best way to get this solved is by a direct discussion with some checkups about the settings. Best regards J_Bell

Well i had two CP 1613 cards one of the card had the blink mode on when ever i start the PC And further more the cp card was not detected by the PC. I rremoved the CP 1613 card and then i took a white eraser and started rubbing slowly in the gold chip site (the place which goes into the slot). "Just like we do for RAM in the PC when it does not get detected " After doing that i cleaned the card and re insterted the same in the same slot. After booting of pc i installed the drivers manualy for the cp1613 card Now it is working fine. may be this could help you.. Have fun..

When I check on Windows Device manager I don`t see CP1613 with yellow signs, this make me think it`s right. I also checkwithsimatic net on configuration console and the card appear configured with RFC1006, i`m using TCP/IP not ISO. I tryed to download to PLC without WINCC running mode. I would like to know if I`m making a mistake during the download procedure... there are any example of this....?? Thanks Caperezic

The actual status is CP1613 blink slowly both leds, yellow and green no matter what I made I mena if the card is connected or not is the same status.... Do you have any idea...?? Thanks, Caperezic
