cp243-1it with internet acces

boulvis Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	hello everyone, I have a 224 cpu with a EM235 and cp243-1IT.I should start automatically because of java applets. For security reasons, I want when cp243-1IT has more internet access to be able to cut the controller. The program STEP7, ETH1_CTRL reference state of the CP243-1IT with "Error". Or, you want to stop some processes in your user programm f.e. a subroutine should be cut off. in case of 1.: I don't know if its possible. But if it is, it makes no sense, because you can't set PLC to RUN again. 2. It's possible. You have to compare to the error code you want to control and then write the subroutine, or whatever, behind the compare. f.e. If Error = 10 then cut off SBR0 [code] LDB<> MB0, 10 CALL SBR_0:SBR0 [/code]

So there have more on the internet module cp243-1IT I want the engine stops because you can not control it after . So I think I'm in case 2 you explained but I thought we could stop the plc as with STEP7. Thank you again for the quick reply and I will keep you informed. I will test this tomorrow. Helmut_13 Posts: 2930 Rating: (432)	Hi, if you change the PLC mode to Stop then you need MW to switch the PLC back to RUN mode or you have to use the switch at the PLC and this is not what you need (I think). Regards Helmut

I tested your solution Robster and in theory that work, it blocks well all the program.( I tested if there was no error and the program is blocked ) thank. But when I disconnected the cable " RJ-45 " of the module of PLC, the module saw that he was disconnected but the program in step7 did not consider as an error nor the module.(No red light) I don't know why it not a error. Helmut_13 , the solution of Robster is the one of what i wished but i was not able to test it in good conditions.Thank you for your remark. Another big thank you to you all.
