cpu 1215 2 communication ports

I have read this:

The CPU 1215C is released for delivery since 10 days.

so I would like to know, these 2 ports are Ethernet ports right? is it possible to make a network by concatenate the plc's one to another and the last one goes to a PC? or i missunderstood the purpose of the secondery port?

the CPU has two ports. That means that the CPU works like if it would be connected to a Switch with two free ports. So, you can connect two cables at same time. However the CPU has just one IP address.

Thanks for the information, so it is possible to chain communication between20 PLC's between one another and the first plc will be connected to a PC or Switch? and if so what are the cable limitations? where did you get this information from couldn't find it.
