CPU 414-22XG03 not found

karlphilip Regular Member Joined: 5/16/2022 Last visit: 6/26/2022 Posts: 23 Rating: (0)	Hello Siemens community, on Tia portal V17 in selection my device I could not find my CPU 414-2XG03-0AB0, for this my realization is for the purpose of controlling the temperature of an industrial oven which can reach 650c. for this my realization consists of these equipment : PT100 temperature sensor. Pressure sensor. control valve. IO-8AIIS. is it possible to carry out this project via this CPU 414, I would like to have your advice, and if I cannot find the CPU 414-2XG03 on Tia portal V17 let me know, so I will use a CPU 315. dchartier Grandmaster-Expert Joined: 9/27/2006 Last visit: 11/18/2024 Posts: 12294 Rating: (2691)	Hello karlphilip; I doubt you will find this CPU in the latest version of TIA Portal, it came out in 1999, and was declared discontinued in 2015. You could try searching for the part number in Product Support. Use the search box at the right of this page. Open the link to your CPU and open the Successor Product tab. You might find a model thst is supported by v17. The application dirs not apoear to be code intensive. A CPU 315 would probably be able to handle it, as described Is this PLC found n TIA Portal v17? You should make sure you have an analog module able to read a PT 100 directly., such as a 6ES7331-7PF01-0AB0, or if your AI module works with current values (0-20 mA) thst your PT100 sensor comes with a current transmitter. Pressessure transmitters often come with 0-20 mA or 4-20 mA signals to connect to a PLC, check the specs of the model you are using. How do you plan on controlling your valve?
