Create GSD file of PLC, V14 SP1 UPDATE3

Hello,

How to create GSD file of PLC. I want to connect a older PLC with my new DCS system via profibus. PLC is 1500 series.

If you change the operating mode of PLC to "IO device", you can export GSD file of PLC.

Perhaps this way works....

Okay can you guide me how to export it when i am using PLC in 'IO Device" mode?

But actually i want to use old PLC in operating mode same as working now, I only want to show all parameters in new DCS system. Can anyone guide me how it is possible ?

Not found export button in Profinet interface, can you please send any screenshot for this?

I am using 1516-3 PN/DP and all IO's will be controlled from same PLC. I want to show all old parameters of this PLC also in DCS. 

Yes, I am using  PROFINET in DCS but wants to connect it with PLC via Profibus.

Hello,

in IO-Device mode go to the properties of the Profinet Interface and scroll down there is a button export.

Which PLC exactly you use and in which mod is it working?
Do you use PROFIBUS or PROFINET for the DCS?

When i installed the GSD as mentioned in your image then it shows only profinet connection, but i want to create such type of GSD which will communicate with ProFibus.

Okay, Now I understand what you wanted to say, Please let me know one more thing how to check which PLC is supported to operate as a slave, is it mentioned somewhere?

Hello,

this is not possible because the PLC you use can not operate as Slave on PROFIBUS so no GSD File is available for this PLC!
