D7-Sys V6.0 + SP1+hotfix4 _ charts compile

trialghost Regular Member Joined: 9/28/2007 Last visit: 4/19/2023 Posts: 18 Rating: (1)	i'm trying to compile simadyn-D charts but i have error about library and i dont know how to fix it i reduce the error from 6 to 3 after download and setup SP1 and hotfix4. what else i can do to have 0 error after combilation. Your screenshot shows 6 errors. when you tell that you can solve 3 of them. As I can see you have user-made library KAM001. This library was made of standard function blocks. And you have in the installation directory version 040129 0929 (C:\Program files\Siemens\Step7\S7cfc\sdblocks\), but in your project was imported library KAM001 version 041109 1041. This is the first problem. Another errors you have I think is the same. You have versions of libraries fbsstd and fbslib different from imported to the project. So to remove all this errors you should go to the CFC-menu Options-Block types. After that you will see the window in which the left side shows libraries installed in your system directory (C:\Program files\Siemens\Step7\S7cfc\sdblocks\) and the right side will shows libraries imported into the project. So by selecting library on the left and press button "New version" you can update this library to the version, which is required by compiler. Do the same with all other libraries which versions is different. After that try to compile.

You must pay attention to it only when you use (update) non-standard libraries, e.g. user made libraies. Because of in one version of user library some function block may have some connector(s), but in the other version of this library the same block may have more or less connectors, so after updating such library you may lost some interconnections (or may have other parameter values). This depends only from the author of this library. With standard libraries from Siemens thismay happen veryrarely.
