Device proxy problem

Hello Dear all,

I have a problem when I want to compile my project configuration, include tp700 comfort (Tia portal v13) and cpu 316-2dp (step7 v5.5).

After compiling, the following error text appeared:

The combination of the local end point and the partner end point is not supported by the HMI connections.

What's the wrong?

can you post the Screenshot of the properties of the HMI Connection?
Have this project work anytime before ?
Which Version of TIA do you use exactly (V1x? SP? UPD?)?

Taking a wild guess..
It sounds as if the HMI wants to communicate via Profinet and PLC wants to communicate through Profibus.

The version of TIA is V13 SP0 UP0.

This project works good when the connection interface between HMI & PLC is PROFINET.

I have the problem every time i have changed the connection interface from PROFINET to PROFIBUS.

The attached file shows this.

I have another questions from Device proxy :

1) Why FB, FC & OB can't come to TIA project, but DB can to be in TIA project ?

2) Is the function " Device proxy " supported by TIA Portal V12 ?

Hi,

can you provide a screenshot of the HMI connection properties?
In the first picture only the error message displayed, click on the green arrow in the line of the errror an it opens the errror location.

1) only the relevant HMI Tags are displayed in the device proxy, no Code blocks!

2) no first release for the Device proxy is V13.

But you should think about to Update you System.

For V13 the Last patchlevel is V13.0 UPD6.

Or you update to teh actual TIA Release V13.0 SP1 UPD4.

Hi,

I have test 2 new project by PROFIBUS connection. first one didn't had any errors. but at second one the error ( at local end point ) appeared again.

Attached picture shows that.
