Dear Rawat SFC13 is dedicated to read out Diagnostic information from a DP Slave (no more and no less). SFC51 on the other hand reads out the S7 system status list. When you call SFC51 you decide via the "SSL-ID" Block input in combination with the "Index" block inout what part of the S7 system status list you want to read (e.g. the status of the LED's on the CPU, serial number of the memory card, assignment of all process image partitions to OBsetc. etc. etc. etc.). Use the online help (F1) on SFC51 to find out how powerful and usefulSFC 51 really is (I am abig fan of it) If you call SFC51 with and SSL-ID of W#16#00B4 andthe DP Slave Diagnostic address as the Index, then (and only then)does SFC51 has thesame funtionality as SFC13. I hope this helps and clarifies things. |
