DP/PA Link with Omron software

Actually we´re able to configure it properly in Step 7 but not with the other manufacturer´s software. Here i attach you the link we´ve followed in order to help us to make it work. http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/es/22809890 We´ve downloaded the GSD_Tool and the GSD file "IM153-2_HF_DPV1_H_12IO.zip" from the Siemens website. If you have the DP/PA Link for the IM15 -2HF, part number 6ES7 153-2BA01-0XA0, have you tried using that instead? If not, please do so. If I recall correctly, you needed PCS7 V7.0 SP1 to use the 6ES7 152-2BA02 units - but I could be wrong. Jim

But the issue here is that we´re trying to configure the DP/PA link (Siemens) hanging from an Omron PLC (using Omron SW to programme it) and it doesn´t recognize the GSD that we´ve installed... sorry but it´s not PCS7 and maybe this is not the right place to post the thread (but i´ve tried with PCS7 and it works) Besides we get an error when we try to create the GSD with the GSD tool and that could be the reason why we´re stuck in the middle of nowhere (Omron & Siemens). The error is shown in the first message. Thanks a lot for your quick answers... Ciao
