DPRD_DAT/DPWR_DAT in S7-1200

I have trouble with data exchange between 2 PLC S7-1200 using DPRD_DAT, DPWR_DAT and need your help. If i use directly address, it's working but when i use DPRD_DAT and DPWR_DAT, it not wok. Can i use DPRD_DAT to read lower 64byte data consistent? Thank you very much! this is my project : --Deleted link-- Attachment Test DB.zip (448 Downloads)

I have never used the Blocks for Datatransfer between PLC, only to communicate with DP-Slave or IO-Device. On DPRD_DAT in PLC_1 you use LADDR 16#10F, which adress should this be ? Regards Christoph

Regards Christoph ret_value : 8093; CM1242-5 has harware id: 271 (16#10F) I changed address at Record : P#M20.0 byte 6 , it still has value 8093, hixhix So i can not use block in this case?

ChristophD Grandmaster Joined: 5/12/2006 Last visit: 11/11/2024 Posts: 22445 Rating: (3029)	Hello, the Adress 271 for CM is in PLC_2 but you use the DPRD_DAT on PLC_1 and there is no Adress 271! The PLC Adress spaces are only specific for the PLC! This is why you get Error 8093. You can try to use the adress 30(dec) from the Transferarea. But on S7-1200 you don't really need this Blocks for read the IO. Regards Christoph

Only if you need to update the ProcessImages values from the user program you can configure a PIP/OB and update the data in this OB. Regards Christoph
