Hi all,

I am trying to import Siemens device using eCl@ss standard. The next step is to use following device in electrical diagrams.

1) Finding and downloading eCl@ss files from siemenes CAx download manager.

2) Setting up product data mapping

• mapping definition file - file prepared in generic data mapper
• OntoML - file placed in Product Master Data folder (CAx_210127_031941_eng.xml)
• UnitsMl - where can I find this file?

I found out that our friend from Germany had similar problem:

Also, I have tried to use mapping definition example file, provided by siemens during instalation, but without any success.

To sum up I am trying to find out answers for these questions:

• Is it possible, using Siemens resources, to import device data to Comos? If so what am I missing?
• Is file UnitsMl necessary to map data?
• Where can I find UnitsMl file? Do I need to buy eCl@ss license from https://www.eclass.eu/ ?
• What about other suppliers? If they share eCl@ss file can I easily import devices?
