ePos block for v90 in Step 7 5.5

Dear Experts,

    I need standard basic positioner communication fuction block in simatic manager 5.5 for V90. Please share if anyone have.

The application text doesn't name V90 (as it was not available back in that time) but it should work same way.

One important parameter is the "AXIS_NO" (axis number) - the document explains which one to use for which drive but doesn't show V90 of course. As far as I can remember here you need to use the value "2" for V90 - if this does not work then it must be "1".

 have you used FB283 for v90 communication in simatic manager..? I don't  received v90 hardware yet for testing the block logic, so i am afraid wether this block will work or not for v90 drive communication.

No, I have not used that combination so far. 

But I am pretty sure it works as the V90 uses also the standard PROFIdrive profile and the same telegram so this is all what the FB is doing. What you can already check is to configure your application offline - so check whether you can put the GSDML file of your V90PN into SIMATIC manager and connect it with telegram 111 to your PLC.
