Hi, trying to set up a PCS7 v8Upd1 project with ET200iSP+Bürkert modules. I was told burkert would work with v8Upd1, but it seems not. I think the problem is the sw update package from burkert, se link http://www.buerkert.com/COM/search.php?type=8650&SearchText=8650 I used Initiation files SUP and HSP to get the hw, then updated HW etc via internet for the HW-configurator (install hardware updates) When I made a testproject with just 1 ET200isp-node including some dig I/O, I managed to compile some charts using the configured addresses, but when I then added the buerkert module and used it in the program I got a strange error: W: The DXCHG0 parameter at block of type Pcs7DiOu is not available. W: The MS parameter at block of type Pcs7DiOu is not available. If anyone out there had the same problem, or even used the buerkert modules in APL, please inform me. I got the same error in 7.1SP3, but there I used CH_DO-driver, but that I can't find in version 8... regards Fredrik |

After contact with support: - Bürkert airline 8650 is not supported in APL version 8Upd1. - Workaround with version 7.1SP3 CH_DO - Follow guidelines in "SIMATIC Process Control System PCS 7 Software update without utilization of new functions", http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/57270143 And my own note: - Seems to work with the 8Upd1 faceplates and stuff if you just replaces the channeldrivers to 7.1SP3 and in CFC editor make a Option/Block Types, copy pcs7AnIn etc from folder offline to chartfolder. In this case you can still use the functionality of v8Upd1, but using 7.1-channel drivers. Regards |
