lgfalco Posts: 19 Rating: (0)	Hi to all experts! Well, first things first, I'm using WinCC (TIA Portal) v13 (update 3) to develop the application. I've read a few posts but as I'm a beginner in WinCC, things are still a bit confusing for me. My client needs to log several events and he wants to archive this data for 1 year. Basically, he wants to log when every motor is turned on and off, when it's in auto or manual mode, when every valve is opened and closed, which user turned that motor on, etc, etc, so there's a lot of digital/boolean info to be logged. Thinking about how to show this info, keeping in mind that he wants to filter everything, per day, month, user, equipment, etc, what is the best way to archive/log these information? Can you suggest an efficient way to display the filtered info? Any help/suggestion will be appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Well, I'm not too experienced at PLC programming and if I understood it correctly, data will be sent to the hmi and archived when the block is called. Is that correct?

But Ijustrealised you are using a s7-300. as far as I know AR_SEND is only available for s7-400. sorry for that. to archive tags of a s7-300 use thestandard functions of wincc. take a look at the manual, there are a lot of functions available, different settings to make etc. there are different triggers available (e.g. cyclic or on demand) to start the archive. lgfalco Posts: 19 Rating: (0)	Hello, No problem K!ke, it could be useful in this project! It's always good to know this kind of resource! Regarding to archive, think it's ok, I've read part of the manual and already implemented, now several info is being recorded using the appropiate triggers. Just one more thing, specifically to boolean values, what's your recommendation to filter and display them? For what I've read and what I know about WinCC, think the best way is to show in a Table View object and create filters for the time and value columns. Think it's inevitably not to use VBS, right? Anyway, thanks a lot for your help!

K!ke Posts: 1299 Rating: (136)	Hello, you can use the online table control. there are a lot of sorting and filtering options already implemented, e.g. you can change the displayed time range during runtime... for boolean tags it might be enough to sort the columns instead of filtering, if it's ok for you? I would like to use only one table for motors, so I created and configure it, added the tags. There are a few tags for each motor, so I was thinking to work with the visibility of the value columns to show/hide all tags for one or another motor. The problem is the value column visibility cannot be changed dynamically by a tag for each collumn, then tried trough VBS but without success. How is it possible to dynamically change this property?
