Extracting Bits from Byte

Hello,

I have basic knowledge of TIA14  and Ladder. So I have task to write the state of bits t outputs.

For example if I have input integer 6 (bin 0000 1100) -> Q0-0 , Q1-0, Q2-1, Q3 -1 etc. or

3 integer  then Q0-1, Q1-1, . I ve try with "CONV "  but doen't works.

Please someone to help me by example.

Assuming the S7-1200 PLC and answering the title of the topic ("Extracting bits from byte") ->

#myByte.%X0    ...    that would be bit 0 from the BYTE tag.

I have no clue as to what you are asking or why you would want to use the convert instruction. Perhaps try asking the question in other words. Maybe also include a picture or your own native language if that would help you make the question clear.

 You can directly use move instruction as

in as MB0 and out as QB0

It works. I have keyence sensor and I have to change the program inside so

the simply  way is exactly this way
