F Keys on the TDE

Afternoon all, 

I'm trying to figure out how to use the F keys on the TDE to operate inputs so i'm trying to get F1 to momentary put power on to input 2 I2 so start the sequence, i have read that you need to use at least on one  line of text with this i only really understand LADDER all i want to do is press F1 and away we go.

I think i may have expressed myself incorrectly in what i'am trying to achieve, i would like to be able to switch Q1 using the F1 key as the trigger there is a holding contact M1 to keep it closed until further down the program there is no physical switch so to speak i was going to use F1 as a replacement to I2
