F system I/O remove

amfirooz Posts: 26 Rating: (0)	Hello dear friends We have a fail safe system configured by redundant CPU S7 400 H and redundant ET-200M with SM-326 24xDI and SM-326 10xDO as distributed IOs. In CFC editor the I/Ochannels are read by F-module driver F_M_DI24 and then passes the digital value toF_CH_DI . I was going to remove one of DIs from program. So, I deleted the connection between F_M_DI24 and F_CH_DI. also the connection for 'value' parameter of F_CH_DI. after compilation I've encountered with the following error: Interconnection / Value of the parameter '1HAY01EU001\5\VALUE' cannot be checked automatically. [Ensure that the interconnection / value of this parameter agrees with the HW Configuration for this parameter.] please inform me about the solution.

yy1 Gold Member Joined: 3/24/2009 Last visit: 7/9/2024 Posts: 535 Rating: (112)	Dear na.firouzi, the failsafe system checks, if the F_CH_DI is connected to a failsafe IO-module, because the block needs some information from the module (sent via PROFIsafe and the module-driver-block). After deleting the module, the channel-driver can not work proper, so you have to delete this block. The manual says in A.2.6.5: You must interconnect the symbol for the digital input channel generated with HW Config in the symbol table with the VALUE input. If you still want do access the adress as a standard-signal, you can insert a convert-block (F_BO_FBO) instead. Regards, yy1

amfirooz Posts: 26 Rating: (0)	Tthanks a lot dear yy there is some questions about your kind response: 1- I'm going to remove only 1-channel assignment (not a whole module) 2- if you have an electronic version of manual (A.2.6.5) , may i ask you to send it plz? 3-finally i could not get solution! maybe i've asked myquestion in a wrong way! in fact i have a S7 program with someCFC charts. i want to remove some I/Os from program and remain the others. how can i remove the I/Os from my program?
