Fan running almost constantly

KingDoug Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	The fan on my Field PG-M seems to run incessantly. I am monitoring the internal temperatures with the Siemens tool. I am consistantly seeing the CPU temperature in the 68-72 degrees C but have seen it as high as 80. Motherboard temperature is at 45-50 degrees C. I am not sure what the normal operating temperatures should be. Could I have a component failure causing excess heat? This occurs even when the system is sitting idle and CPU usage is at minimum levels like 0-3%. Does anyone have any input for me to help with this? Thanks... doug

I don't think you necessarily have a component failure, mine is 2 years old now, hopefully I can talk my boss into getting me an M2. Graeme
