Click it and mark download from internet then Execute. download the new products that you need (or download them all) then close and don't forget to Install what you have downloaded. If it's not working with you this way then you can download the GSD file directly from this link, PROFIBUS GSD files : ET 200M. Best regards, H-H

Dear f.arslan

check the version of your STEP7, more detail on : New IM153-2 with New Functions Released for Delivery.

The new modules replace the following predecessor modules; they are spare part compatibel:

Predecessor Module

New Module

6ES7 153-2BA01-0XB0

6ES7 153-2BA02-0XB0

6ES7 153-2BA81-0XB0

6ES7 153-2BA82-0XB0

New features of the ET 200M IM153-2 interface module:

Expansion to 12 modules per IM
64-channel modules can be used
Use of HART main and secondary variables in conjunction with 8-channel HART analog modules
Improved time stamping
Optimizations in Link mode

If you wish to use the new functions of the module you require either STEP7 V5.4, SP3, or a suitable GSD file for operation with non-Siemens masters (SI04801E.GSG). You will find this file on the Internet on the Customer Support site under entry ID 113498.

If you don’t require the new functions, you can continue to work with older STEP7 versions. The new modules are spare part compatible with the modules shipped up to now. This means that you can retain your configuration when you replace a module. The new modules will also work with the existing (old) configuration.

The new functions of the module are described on two Product Information bulletins that you will find under entry IDs 26269772 and 26269778

Have you opened the DP/PA Link section of the Profibus slaves? This is where you will find the model of IM-153-2 that you can use as an interface between DP and PA networks.
