Also there are some ways to change hardware and download it with keeping the case of out put for a while and resume the system after, some hard job must done but the depend on the system that you are using So it's not absolute case not possible. regards

huzi.saify Posts: 15 Rating: (0)	Hi, Plc Hardware configuration is not possible during run time beacause S7-300 PLCs do not support changing configuration in RUN mode. To download modifications of Hardware the CPU must go in STOP mode. But if you have software redundancy based on S7-300, you can modify hardware configuration without stopping the SYSTEM this means Stopping one CPU at a time and you will Need 2 CPU with DP Interfaces. You can read more in software redundancy manual. With regards, Huzi.saify
