hardware Dongle for CP-341

shaikh Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	I am communicating a cummins controller with CP-341.Application is to get genset data from controller to CPU but the problem is that i have Modbus slave (RTU) with me,is it possible to stablish communication with same or i have to use Modbus master (RTU). Is thier any difference of hardware between the master & slave dongles ?

However, look at 6ES7870-1AB01-0YA1 and 6ES7870-1AA01-0YA1. This is two different product and nn the legal side, you need buy a right licence. About first question, can you explaine again your situation. I can't understood very well. Hope this will helps.

how come Posts: 382 Rating: (47)	Dear shaikh, I believe you have to use Modbus master as you need to get data from genset. Thus your genset controller is the slave for your S7-PLC-CPU. with regards, how come?
