Help! Communication can't established from S7-414FH to PC station with redundant CP1613 using ISO

T41 Posts: 88 Rating: (1)	Please change the extension of the file to "doc" as actually they are doc files. See HW_NETPRO_Configure.doc for the configuration in HW and NetPro. They are redundant S7-414FH with redundant WinCC HMI using CP1613. using "S7 connection fault-tolerant" It works yesterday. This morning, I used "Configuration Console" to change the "Time of Day" to "deactive". Then the connection from PLC to WinCC is lost. Even I changed back the setting of "Time of Day" to "active", the connection still lost. Then I check in NretPro and found the "S7 connection fault-tolerant" is "not available". From "Station Configuration Editor" it always said OK. Then I reconfigure, compile and save, download the PC station, the problem still there. I don't know where is the problem. Due to the attachment limit, i'll upload the other two files in the new topic. If you have any suggestion, please also email me wub@ucalgary.ca Thank you. Calm_down Posts: 324 Rating: (30)	Hello, well these are a lot of questions. I will try to answer a view. First of all, a S7-H-Connection from a PC to a PLC is, seen from the PLC side, always passive. This is due to the fact the PC is in such situations active by default. This is slightly different if you have two H PLC Systems. The other thing is that you always try to seehow the H Connection Status is in STEP7, why do you not use the S7-RedConnect S7 Connection Diagnostic? This is the feature to check this on PC side.
