Hello, So, to connect Kepware with Intouch, you have to use OPC Link. (by the way this is OPC client from wonderware). I found one example how to use OPC Link. (Using OPC with Wonderware OPC-Link But basically this is not so complicate. If you need we could discuss more. You said S7-200. In this case isn't possible to use ethernet module there. And after useing DASSIDIRECT Server. (Very easy procedure). Let me know. About simulation between S7 and Intouch look at /tf/WW/en/Posts/34097 Hope this helps. Best regards, Hristo Mihalev |

Dear UMENCHO, After setting up OPCLink and KEPserver in support with Tech note configuration , I still have error message in KEPserver window said: " 2/19/2010-3:09:58 PM-1-Default User-Siemens S7 MPI-Device 's7300.Device1' is not responding. " please note, this connecting was made through MPI serial (Siemens S7 MPI) not by ethernet as you told before and Tech note too which is talking about configuration using GE ethernet. consequently, I am using PLCSim without NetToPLCSim because I do not have ethernet configuration. do you believe that there is any error while confg. ? or PLCSim can not make any simulation for this case as I don't have hardware cpu? and why opc server did not have responding from S7-300 (PLCSim)? Regarding S7-200, I noticed that DASSIDirect is possible way to access InTouch only by TCP/IP as follows: http://www.wonderware.com/support/mmi/comprehensive/kbcd/html/t002006.htm at this time, I just want to get a link via serial MPI, is there any other way for this issue? Thanks again |

\ Hello again, Our target is MPI. Take a note. J_Bell said:
Into PC side what kind of hardware do you have? By the way, I saw just now:
Why S7-300? And look at Siemens S7 200 OPC Server, Kepware for Wonderware
