Hi, It looks like the PXM50 you have is one of the original PXMxx devices that was launched as part of the Touch & Web range several years ago. The date code for the device indicates it was manufactured in 2015. This will only work alongside a PXG3.W100 (where the graphics etc are stored, and to which the PXM50 connects to). The PXM50 simply acts as a browser-type device that connects to a web server (the PXG3.W100). It doesn't hold any data, i.e. graphics. The PXM50.E and PXM50.1 devices that you refer to are from the more recent range, named Desigo Control Point. This replaced the Touch & Web range. The .E device is an all-in-one solution, where it hosts/stores graphics. The .1 device is of a similar concept to the original Touch & Web PXM50 device that you have, i.e. a browser-type device, which connects to a secondary web server device. XWorks is used to configure the older Touch and Web range, including graphics - and firmware is updated via the XWorks firmware download tool. You will need to use this. ABT is used to configure the Control Point range, and is also where the firmware is updated from - so this is why you are not having any luck using ABT. ABT will discover your device, but that's about all it will do. The PX controller you have is an Apogee-range controller, rather than a Desigo-range controller. This, I suspect, unfortunately complicates matters further, as I'm not 100% sure the Touch & Web range is compatible with and / or capable of integrating an Apogee controller as a 3rd party device (with the PXC loaded with BACnet Apogee firmware). The Control Point range however is capable of integrating 3rd pary devices, i.e. an Apogee controller with BACnet firmware. I hope this all makes sense. I've attached some of the info I have that's related to the PXM50 that you have. You can review this, Page 6 and onwards, and come back with any further questions. Also, the factory reset process is described on Page 21. Regards, AttachmentWeb and Touch install and commisioning CM111029en.pdf (404 Downloads) |
