helping with indirect adressing

I just would like to know if you have some tips or triks to make better this programm: I tried to follow some of your recommendations and I recognized that I don´t have so deeply knowledge as you. Therefore I am going to explain a little what I did in order to solve this problem. I choiced 16 Words I / O in a yaskawa driver profibus protocol. This yaskawa configuration has a group used for common commands and the second part is used to read and write parameters but it must be done as indirect adressing because a byte is used to select read or write ( 3H and 10 H are the commands hexadecimal) the next pair of bytes are used to stablish the parameter number to be read or writen. the next byte is used to stablish how many bytes you want to read or write. and the last pair of bytes are used to thus read or write a value of the paramenter. If you want to change a parameter( write 10 H in the first byte) you have to toglee a bit no. 7 in the word dedicated to handshaking so that the change is recognized and made. it means: I create a FC 1where I am transfering DB11 DW 16 to 30 to a PQW stablished for the drive mentioned and this is call in OB1. OtherFC 2is calledconditionally after a bit that allow parameter changes. I created as well a DB21 with parameters and DB31 with values of parameters. FC2 starts: L 10h command to write T DB11. DBB16 First byte to make an order to write. L 0 load first word in DB T MD50 Transfer the first word to a Memory OPN DB21 DB where all paramters are writen L DBW[MD50]loadthe first DW0 from DB21 that contents the first parameter T DB11. DBW17 Transfer the parameter to the PQWxx L 2 Load number of bytes to be write T DB11.DBB19 Transfer to the PQB dedicated. OPN DB31 L DBW[MD50] load the first DW where is writen the first value. T DB11.DBW20 Transfer to the word where is writen the value to be changed. After this it is necesary to do: AN M100.0 L S5T#1s SP T10 Pulse timer. A T10 = DB11.DBX31.7 toggle bit 7 "handshaking" In this moment the parameter has another value. If I want to continues changing a list of parameters I have to increase de value in MD50 by two bytes and for everychange, I have to make a "handshaking". The problem is that I dont have a way to increase the counter and point the next DW in both DB 21 and DB31. Would you mind or somebody else helping me to complete this program?? tthanks a lot Silvato
