HMI simulation s7-1200

infirio Posts: 3 Rating: (1)	Hi I have an starter kit s7-1200. This kit includes a plc and I was wondering if I can connect this plc to my computer and with the step7 simulate a basic panel. I have tried this many times but the only thing i can do is run a simulator for the tags not with the real tags from the plc. Can somebody helpme?

Robster Gold Expert Joined: 5/28/2008 Last visit: 10/23/2024 Posts: 1343 Rating: (141)	Hi, Step 7 Basic includes a WinCC flexible 2008 Runtime. With this, you can simulate the Panel on your PC. To do this, you have to adjust your PG/PC interface in system settings of your PC. Configure the access point S7ONLINE with TCP/IP Network adapter of your PC. Then click to your HMI in Step7 Basic projekt and start the runtime by clicking on the green arrow symbol bar on top. Good luck

infirio Posts: 3 Rating: (1)	Hi thank you for your help. Problem solve it. The only thing I needed to do was entering to control panel and configure on SET PG/PC INTERFACE the TCP/IP.
