Hello storm; Quick answer for an emergency request: you can't. Only the Software Redundancy package can be used with S7-300 PLCs, and that is not a hot-standby system. At best it can be considered a warm-backup. Details on Software Redundancy can be found here: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/1137637 Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |

Hello MrStorm88, Mr. Daniel is absolutely right. You can't have quick answer for emergency request here. Siemens hot line might be of a good use but to the best of my knowledge they won't do engineering for you. Regarding power supplies' redundancy, you should use SITOP modular redundancy module. It's just a simple diode circuit if you would like to make your own. Regarding software redundancy, you shouldread the manual carefully andmake your configuration and come back with specific problems and questions in software redundancy. Otherwise, I'm afraid theanswers and help would be generic. Best regards. H-H |
