M.Alawini Posts: 24 Rating: (0)	Hi: We have C7 623/P i want to trouble I succeeded to make communication with my PC by MPI but the CPU always at stop mode i tray to make it on but there is no action. when make diagnostic buffer every thing is ok but (Stop eternal massage) how I can start

vipz Gold Member Joined: 9/2/2012 Last visit: 8/15/2024 Posts: 711 Rating: (30)	Hai, what is cpu ststus now ? is it in run mode? is it having run-stop-run p button? do short on auth terminal (nearby 24v supply terminal) and try run-stop button to do manual warm restart. download plc and hmi backup (some c7 cpu having seperate plc,hmi program, lower versions hmi program is inbuilt in plc program itself). c7623 am not remembering, so i mentioned this .

M.Alawini Posts: 24 Rating: (0)	It have n't run/stop bottom and if you what to stop it you must only from OP but it is locked by password. But what did you mean by shrorting the terminal near to 24 power suply terminal?

Because initialy you mentioned that CPU is in stop because of internal error, now you posted as some password option.[you wrote--There is problem the screen mode of C7 Op is closed by password.i can not enter to operation mode screen]. so please let us know the actual problem and kind of help you are looking for..

I havent seen this cpu before. Am attaching another c7 CPU's photo here . in that right top side you can see 2 button with lock symbol, similiar buttons are threre in your hmi ? If am remembering correctly I have seen this in C7-613 and C7-633. similiarly something is available here? Can you check 24v the power supply of the module, normaly for C7 there will be 4 pin connector, 2 for 24,0v and other for making authorisation(you just need to short witha small cable) to change the operating mode using the buttons mentioned in first few lines.If this pins are not shorted, if you trying to change operating mode of C7 it will not accept.
