how can i update or upgrade the MP377 via usb port ?

saving Posts: 21 Rating: (0)	dear sir's I have a MP377 15" with OS version 1.0.2.0 but the WinCC Flexible 2007 HF4 software I´m using only permits version 1.0.0.0 for that multi panel, when i want to update the OS of Mp377 via USB port and with usb cable(such as siemens say in USB_Transfer_V1_1_e.pdf) appeare the error(please note to att. file) how can i update or upgrade the MP377 via usb port ? How can you transfer data via USB from a WinCC flexible configuration computer to a Windows-based operator panel and which USB cables can be used for this? enclosed in the above link and in the pdf file attached on this FAQ, types of USB host host cables released for communication with Windows CE panels. You can use it for OS update, backup, restore and download. Hope this helps.

saving Posts: 21 Rating: (0)	dear Ayman Elotaify i have a usb host to host cable (model Bf-100c mad by www.bafa.com) according with siemens say in the usb_transfer_v1_1 file. but i hvae problme for update and transfer project to mp377 that i said to you beafor (please not to attach file) i think wincc can connect to mp but i dont know why cannot it transfer ?. beast regard's a.j

Then using a Prosave to 'play' with OS of the panel. Oops, in order to reset to factory settings needs ethernet cable. How do you do an operating system update (OS update) on operator panels? Aaa and for OS update needs 6ES7 901-3CB30-0XA0 or 6ES7 901-0BF00-0AA0. Best regards, Hristo Mihalev
