How do I set the right path to the Target OS

I have a migrated project I need to download to a new installed Windows10 machine. The WinCC version on both PG and Target OS is 7.5. The project is already placed on the path: The name on the server is KALEB5SRV01 and the project is placed on the D-drive on this machine in a folder called WinCC. The name of the project is the same as the name of the server KALEB5SRV01. When I browse my way to the project on the server with the autostart option that is: D:\WinCC\KALEB5SRV01\KALEB5SRV01.mcp After I restart the server it does start WinCC up. When I close WinCC and check the auto path it has been modified to: \\KALEB5SRV01\WinCC_Project_KALEB5SRV01\KALEB5SRV01.mcp I can enter this path as the path of the Target OS in the PG - but every time I click on apply it adds an ekstra directory so the path will be: \\KALEB5SRV01\WinCC_Project_KALEB5SRV01\KALEB5SRV01\KALEB5SRV01.mcp And unfortunately if I do a download it will be a full download and the whole project is downloaded "a level too deep". How do I get the correct path for the Target OS set in the project on my PG? Attachment P2.zip (173 Downloads)

The project is working and I can simulate RT and change displays and see trends. What is NOT working is the path to the Target OS - so that is what I am asking about. Anyone else has a better suggestion? xmnj Gold Member Joined: 9/30/2016 Last visit: 11/11/2024 Posts: 914 Rating: (6)	I found the solution: When the project path on the server (KALEB5SRV01) is: D:\WinCC\KALEB5SRV01\KALEB5SRV01.mcp The path entered on the PG as path to the Target OS should be: \\KALEB5SRV01\WinCC\KALEB5SRV01.mcp Then when I click on apply WinCC will add the project directory so the final path is the correct one: \\KALEB5SRV01\WinCC\KALEB5SRV01\KALEB5SRV01.mcp
