How to add multiple slave devices on WinCC RT advanced Modicon Modbus RTU driver?

Dear honorable Experts,

I am using WinCC RT Advanced V14 SP1,

how Can i Configure Modicon Modbus RTU driver for more than one device? in my case i have a PLC with single serial port and a Energy meter both are compatible on RS485 protocol and i already communicated with both devices but one by one, not both at a time.

so my query is if WinCC RT Advanced have Modicon Modbus RTU driver then it should communicate with multiple devices just like any other modbus rtu driver, but there is no configuration environment in WinCC connection setting where i can add multiple slave devices, on same protocol.

please guide me, and suggest any alternative if it is possible.

you can add a second connection with the same communication driver (Modicon Modbus RTU), and use another slave address.

When i add another connection as Modicon Modbus RTU in WinCC, it shows compilation error.

you should first make all your modbus connections then after you can add your OPC connetion.

The Error comes if you use a diffent Com Port in the multible connections.

The Only Way I can see is to use just one Com Port but multible Slave Adresses.
