How to migrate WinCC flex TP177A project to TIA portal

BlackLion Posts: 9 Rating: (0)	Hello! How to migrate WinCC project created in WinCC flex on TP177A panel to TIA Portal KTP600PN panel and integrate it in existing project with S71200 controller? TIA portal says that cannot migrate project created not in WinCC flexible 2008. But when I "save as version" KTP600PN panel project in WinCC flexible 2008, flexible says that "The device type KTP600PN is not avaible in WinnCC flex2008". PS Sorry for my English.

Change the TP177A to a Basic KTP-PN-Panel you want to use. 3. Save project in WinCC flex 2008. 4. Migrate in STEP7 Basic --> a new project will be created. Remember: You can only migrate Basic Panel Projects from WinCC2008. And only Basic Panels with PN-Connection, not DP. regards

You need to pick a different size panel or install a supplement file. Here are the steps you have to follow: 1. You must change the device in your WinCC Flex 2008 SP1 project to a Basic panel that was supported by WinCC Flex 2008. The 4" and 6" panels were not supported. If you want to use one of these panels then you have to install the Supplement_HSP_B4and6 add-on to WinCC Flex 2008 SP1. Unzip this file, close WinCC Flex 2008 SP1, stop the HmiES.exe process (or reboot the PC), and then run ApplySupplement.2008.cmd 2. Do a complete Generate (compile) of the WinCC Flex 2008 SP1 project 3. Using the Save As Version function select 2008. 4. Open Step 7 Basic 10.5 without opening any project 5. Select the Migrate project button and browse for the project you just saved then select Migrate. Attachment Supplement_HSP_B4and6 (SaveAsVersion).zip (762 Downloads)
